The center’s current focus includes aesthetic fractional resection for skin laxity and reconstructive closure of skin defects including fractional skin grafting and fractional assisted closure to reduce incisional length and scarring. An additional clinical application includes enhanced harvesting of large numbers of cutaneous stem cells. To upgrade its capability, The center is moving its base of operations from Pleasanton, California to Evolve Manufacturing in Fremont, California. Evolve Manufacturing will provide an additional capability for high-quality commercial manufacturing.
